ABSTRACT
Objective To discuss the aged people N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP)changes in thyroid function disorder and its correlation.Methods With electrochemical luminescence analyzer,detected serum NT-proBNP lev-el 38 patients with hyperthyroid heart disease,68 patients with hyperthyroidism,31 patients with hypothyroidism,and 43 ca-ses of healthy controls.Compared each groupserum NT-proBNP level of older population with middle-aged people,and anal-ysied the correlation.Results The serum NT-proBNP level of Hyperthyroidism heart group,hyperthyroidism,hypothyroid-ism group and normal control group were 827.61±626.13,107.18±54.46,162.94±134.14,68.76±39.21 pg/ml,respec-tively.The serum level of HT-pro BNP.Hyperthyroidism group,hyperthyroidism,hypothyroidism group compared with nor-mal control group,there were statistically significan(t = 7.458,4.312,3.794,P = 0.000,0.000,0.001).Hyperthyroidism heart,hypothyroidism with hyperthyroidism group serum level of NT-proBNP comparison there was statistical significance(t=7.078,2.232;P = 0.000,0.032).Hyperthyroidism heartgroup,hypothyroidism group and normal control group older population was higher than the level of serum NT-proBNP middle-aged,difference was statistically significant (t=-3.216,-2.510,-2.653;P =0.007,0.016,0.014).Hyperthyroidism group of elderly serum NT-proBNP level higher than that of middle-aged people,but there was no statistically significant difference (t=-0.140,P =0.890).Multiple regression analy-sis in hyperthyroidism group serum levels of NT-proBNP and FT4 had positive correlation (r=0.224,P =0.033)and hypo-thyroidismgroup serum levels of NT-proBNP and T3 had negative correlation (r=-0.363,P =0.022).Conclusion Thy-roid dysfunction in elderly people for the level of serum NT-proBNP had significant influence.Auxiliary disgnosis and cura-tive effect observation of the serum level of NT-proBNP in people with different thyroid functional status has certain clinical value.

Delphian lymph node is a part of Ⅵlymph node.According to the latest research ,the metasta-sis rate in papillary thyroid carcinoma ( PTC) is up to nearly 20%.Meanwhile ,the Ⅵlymph node is usually con-sidered as the sentinel lymph node of PTC metastasis .Most scholars believe that .Delphian lymph nodes may have certain clinical significance in the development process of PTC .This article aims to summarize the research pro-gress in clinical relations between the Delphian node and papillary thyroid carcinoma .

Objective To investigate the insula and its related network of schizophrenia patients and its correlation to behavior performance with functional magnetic resonance imaging.Methods Fourteen patients with paranoid schizophrenia and sixteen normal subjects received blood oxygenation level dependent functional magnetic resonance imaging(BOLD-fMRI) examinations based on resting state and digital 2-back working memory task.The fMRI data were processed and analyzed with SPM2,AFNI and Matlab software packages (thresholded at P =0.005,uncorrected).Medial prefrontal cortex (MPFC,BA10) was placed as region of interest (ROI).Results The functional connectivity positively or negatively correlated with MPFC was lower for patient group than that for control group in resting and task states.In resting state,the brain areas negatively correlated with MPFC mainly included the bilateral superior temporal gyrus (BA22),cuneus (BA 18/19),inferior parietal lobule (BA40),right parahippocampus for patient group and the bilateral insula/superior temporal gyrus(BA22),inferior parietal lobule(BA40),paracentral lobule,parahippocampus for control group.The brain areas positively correlated with MPFC mainly included the pineal gland areas for patient group and the left anterior nucleus thalamus,bilateral medial superior frontal gyrus (BA6),right inferior corpus callosum (BA34) and the cerebellar vermis for control group in resting state.In 2-back task,the brain areas negatively correlated with MPFC mainly included the right cerebellar hemisphere,left superior parietal lobule/precuneus (BA7),left superior frontal gyrus (BA6) for patient group and the left medial dorsal thalamus,bilateral lateral premotor area (BA6),left inferior parietal lobule/precuneus (BA7),right cerebellar hemisphere for control group.The accuracy of reaction was lower in patient group than that in control group((78.30 ± 8.76) ％ vs (89.89 ± 8.05) ％,P =0.01) and the correlation between the accuracy and the left medial dorsal thalamus had statistical significance (r =-0.52,P =0.04).Conclusion The altered functional connectivitv of the bilateral insula and its related network indicates functional disintegration of the limbic system in patients with schizophrenia.Widespreadly reduced functional connectivity and the functional disconnection of left medial dorsal thalamus mav be one of the reasons for poor behavior performance in schizophrenia patients.
ABSTRACT
Objective To assess the clinical results of the treatment of the 211 cases of long bone shaft fractures at lower limbs with intramedullary interlocking nails. Methods 211 cases of femoral and tibial fractures were treated chiefly with unreamed intramedullary interlocking nails and postoperative functional exercises including continuous passive motion (CPM). Results 189 cases were followed up for an average of 9 months (ranging from 4 to 26 months). All the cases achieved bone union, and no nonunion occurred. Delayed union occurred in 7 cases and limited knee joint function in 4 cases. According to the Johner-wruhs criteria, 178 cases were assessed as excellent, 24 as good and 9 as fair. The total excellent and good rate was 95.6%. Conclusions The intramedullary interlocking nail is a good device for the treatment of long bone shaft fractures at lower limbs. Its indications have become wider. It is correct to pay equal attention to the blood supply of the fractured bone and the reduction of the fracture during the operation.

Objective On the purpose of assessing inhibition efficacy and mechanism of Xiaoaiping (XAP, a kind of Chinese medicine) for SGC 7901 gastric carcinoma cellular strains.Methods 1. Extracorporal inhibition experiments were undertaken for SGC 7901 gastric carcinoma cellular strains using XAP 50,40,30,20,10mg/ml concentrations respectively. 2. SGC 7901 gastric carcinoma cellular strains on the logarithmic growth periods(4?10 7 cells) were concentrated to 1ml in volume. It was coagulated after mixing with thrombin and fibrin and then the coagulated clot was implanted in renal capsules of Kunming water mouse(certifications: No.005, CSAC) for intracorporal experiments. After continual injecting Xiaoaiping intra abdominal cavity was seven days, with 0.4,0.6,0.8ml/kg concentrations respectively. On the 8th day all the water mice were sacrificed using eyepicec ruler for calculating tumor size under microscope including inhibition hate. 3. In order to pursue mechanism of Xiaoaiping on gastric carcinoma, analyses were carried out on FACSTar with cellular analysis of cellfit DNA analysis software, after Xiaoaiping(30mg/ml) mixed with SGC 7901 cellular strains(1?10 6 cells) seven days. Simultaneously Giemsa decoration method as used for observing tumor cell morphologic changes. Results 1. Extracorporal inhibition rates were 100%,59%,29%,19% and 15% to SGC 7901 gastric carcinoma cells using XAP 50,40,30,20,10mg/ml concentrations respectively. Obvious differences were found in comparison with control groups, inhibition rate of XAP in high concentration is similar with HCPT(98%), IC 50 concentration was 21mg/ml after used XAP for seven days. 2. Tumor inhibition rates were 50%,53% and 71% respectively with continual injecting Xiaoaiping into abdominal cavity seven days by 0.4,0.6,0.8ml/kg concentrations. ED 50 was 0.44/kg for Kunming Water Mouse by logit method. Obvious differences were found in comparison with control groups. Inhibition rate(71%) of XAP in high concentration reached favorabler standard with 5 Fu (76%). 3. DNA analyses showed that cellular period were 65.70% in G 0 G 1 period, 16.22% in G 2 M period, 18.09% S period respectively. G 2/G 1 ratio was 1.86 after XAP(30mg/ml) mixed with SGC 7901 cellular strains seven days, the ratio of cellular nucleus to syrup was reduced as tumor cell morphology. Conclusion Xiaoaiping appears to have good inhibition effect on gastric carcinoma cellular strains and should be as an alternative choice for treatmenting gastric carcinoma and metastases.
